HOW ROLL FINDER WORKS
A clearer path from discovery to training.
Roll Finder is taking shape around practical academy information, trustworthy gym connections and a training history that means something because its sources are clear.
1. Discover an academy
Explore useful information for choosing where to train: location, schedule context, visitor expectations, trial questions and the details that shape a real training week. Public directory information remains distinct from details managed or confirmed by an academy.
2. Connect with your home gym
Students may identify a home gym to organize their experience. That self-reported connection is not verified membership, rank or staff status. Gym-confirmed membership and roles are designed to remain clearly labeled and separately controlled.
3. Build a verified training history
A future BJJ Passport is planned to bring together verified visits and training milestones. Verification should come from supported check-ins or participating gyms—not from an unverified profile claim—and this capability is not generally available today.
4. Check visitor policies before you travel
Academies set their own rules for drop-ins, open mats, uniforms, waivers, registration and fees. Roll Finder’s guides help students ask the right questions now; future gym-managed visitor information will appear only when participating academies and release controls support it.
WHAT IS AVAILABLE TODAY
Useful guides now. A controlled beta as the product develops.
The published guides are available to everyone. Product access is currently an invitation-only adult New Jersey beta, and the capabilities described above are not all live today. Youth participation, payments and other higher-risk workflows remain separately restricted until their applicable safeguards and release requirements are complete.
